Last year I had the honor to document Laura and Jeremy’s wedding at the Sandos Playacar Hotel in Playa del Carmen. The wedding was so intimate, only them with ther little son Wyatt,parents and close friends. The kind of weddings I love. I want to thank you guys again for your all your trust.
Lydia & Edgar’s wedding was held at the beautiful Hacienda Uayamon, in Campeche, Mexico. This place it’s just magical. I was very excited to work again in such an amazing place. The reception was held in the Centro de convenciones siglo XXI. Check out some of my favorite photos from their wedding!

I am really impressed with all of your work. Love the photographic scene approach as well as your evening shots. Getting the right exposure in the evening is tough. For the RAIN WEDDING PHOTOS IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN | MEGHAN+BLAKE last segment of evening photos what kind of lighting were you using? Also throughout did you use an 85 mm 1.2 canon lens? Hi Marie! Thanks for your kind words! I used a flash (580ex II triggered by pocket wizards) behind the couple, and a 50mm 1.2 lens! I was in the middle of the rain, with a plastic bag on my camera, and they were no lights at all! I took my gear to the limit, ISO 1600, f1.2, 1/60 and manual focus. One of the most dificult lighting situations I ever experienced!

Dora & Jaime chose one of the finest places in Campeche, Mexico for their destination wedding. Hacienda Uayamon is one of the most amazing venues in the Yucatan Peninsula. I couldn’t wait for their wedding day to arrive. I was very excited to work with them in such an amazing place. I knew that I could create some stunning photos of their day.
